Litleåna power plant
Litleåna power plant is located in the municipality of Kvinesdal in Vest-Agder. The river flows through Austredalen and south-west towards Liknes where it flows into the river Kvina to the Fedafjord.
Litleåna power plant was put into operation in 2013. The power plant is equipped with two Francis turbines, has an installed capacity of 3,2MW and an average annual production of 9,4GWh. The average annual production is equivalent to normal consumtion of approximately 460 Norwegian households.
The power plant utilizes a vertical drop of 67 meters. The waterway from the intake to the power station consists of partially tunnels and partially buried pipes.
