Nygårdsfjellet vindpark består av 14 vindturbiner med en samlet kapasitet på 32,2MW. Vindmøllene har en installert effekt på 2,3MW hver. Oppføringen av Nygårdsfjellet vindpark ble gjort i to trinn. De første 3 turbinene ble satt i drift i 2006 og de siste 11 i 2011. Gjennomsnittlig årsproduksjon er 105GWh, tilsvarende normalforbruket til ca 5200 norske husstander.

Vindhastigheter
Årlig gjennomsnittlig vindhastighet, målt 50 meter over bakken langs kysten av Norge, er på ca 8m/s. Produksjonen ved Nygård vindkraftverk starter ved 3m/s og stanses ved 25m/s. Produksjonen stanses da for å unngå skader på turbinen.

Nygårdsfjellet wind farm is located right beside E10 on Skitdalshøgda. The windmills are scattered around the regulated Skitdalsvatn, which is one of the reservoirs to Nygård power plant.
